Art of Craft Liberty Fabric - Two Metres - Standen - Green

Classic Arts and Crafts motifs, intricate detail and rich hues populate Liberty’s new capsule collection of ten fabrics, conceptualised and designed in the Liberty Fabrics’ studio.

The collection features ‘May’s Orchard’, an entirely new print created especially for this collection, as well as archival William Morris designs and past patterns that were inspired by his work.

Standen was adapted from the William Morris ‘Sunflower’ wallpaper, originally created and block printed in 1879. Rescaled and recoloured by the Liberty Studio in 2018, this large-scale rendition glows in richly saturated colour. Decorative details incorporate a mesmerising combination of vine leaves, grapes, tulips, and of course, glorious sunflowers.
