To mark the 75th anniversary of William Morris Gallery, a special collaboration has been launched with students from the BA Ceramic Design course at Central Saint Martins. This exciting partnership invited students to create a limited collection of functional ceramic objects, drawing inspiration from the legacy of William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement.
The resulting designs—thoughtfully developed with an emphasis on craft, sustainability, and storytelling—will be available exclusively in the William Morris Gallery gift shop this autumn. Each piece reflects a contemporary interpretation of Morris’s enduring design principles, reimagined through the eyes of a new generation of makers.
This initiative not only celebrates the Gallery’s rich history but also supports emerging talent in British design—offering visitors the opportunity to take home a beautifully made, meaningful object that embodies the spirit of William Morris: art for the everyday.
The ceramic collections will be available to purchase in-store & online from September 2025 as part of our 75th anniversary celebrations.
