NEW COLLABORATION | Sarah Campbell for 'Women in Print: 150 years of Liberty Textiles'

Created specifically for our exhibition, Women in Print: 150 Years of Liberty Textiles, we are excited to unveil our exclusive collection of stationery & prints by celebrated designer Sarah Campbell. The range draws inspiration from iconic designs within the Liberty London archive and features greeting cards, magnets, notebooks and prints.

Each piece in this collection—from our Sussex-printed, FSC-certified greetings cards to our statement A3 prints—celebrates the monumental contribution Sarah and her sister, Susan Collier, made to British textile history.

The Bauhaus Design: A direct homage to the pioneering Bauhaus Workshops, this design was originally created as a furnishing fabric for Liberty & Co. Taking inspiration from a 1920s Gunta Stölzl tapestry, Sarah and Susan deliberately retained the hand-painted, 'wobbly' quality of the abstract lines, preserving a unique artistic spirit that broke away from standard industrial printing.

The Dense Floral design: A vibrant tapestry of summer blooms including roses, daisies, and bluebells. Inspired by a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show and originally hand-painted for Liberty furnishing fabrics, this pattern is a joyous celebration of the natural world and the sisters' enduring design legacy.

The Sarah Campbell collection is available now, exclusively at the William Morris Gallery shop both in-store and online.

All purchases support William Morris Gallery's work, helping to fund our education and learning initiatives, conservation efforts, and world-class exhibitions.
