An exclusive 3D wooden tree decoration collection, inspired by one of the rarest designs in the William Morris Gallery’s archive: Liverpool by John Henry Dearle, chief designer at Morris & Co.

Originally created in 1905, Liverpool is believed to be a trial sample — the closest Morris & Co ever came to producing a dress silk. With only one known surviving example, held in the Gallery’s archive, this intricate design has now been brought to life for the first time in a beautifully crafted laser-cut wooden ornament.

Delicately layered and sculpted in 3D from sustainable plywood in the UK, these ornaments transform a little-known textile treasure into a striking set of decorative objects — a celebration of both historic innovation and contemporary craftsmanship.

Elegant, rare, and steeped in design history, the Liverpool tree decoration collection is perfect for collectors, design enthusiasts, and those looking to add an extraordinary touch of Morris heritage to their festive tradition.
