The ‘Liverpool’ Table Linen Collection by London Embroidery Studio

Taking its inspiration from the original 1905 fabric sample, titled 'Liverpool'. Designed by John Henry Dearle , this exquisite pattern was never put into production, making the Gallery's sample the only known example in existence—and possibly a trial piece for a dress silk. The pattern showcases a delicate and flowing aesthetic, a beautiful example of the later Arts and Crafts style applied by Dearle, Morris's successor.

Impeccably crafted and designed by The London Embroidery Studio, the table runner and napkins are made from a lovely pure linen fabric in a soft, earthy khaki green. This beautifully woven fabric is made from 100% flax fibres, giving it a natural texture and strength that only gets better with age.
