William Morris Satchel - Morris Brown

Inspired by a canvas satchel belonging to William Morris, this contemporary take by Kingsley Walters is made in London using canvas that has been exclusively batch-dyed by Dundee fabric specialists Halley Stevenson and finished with hand cut vegetable tanned leather. Available in Morris brown canvas, with saddle leather trim and strap or midnight blue with black leather trim.

Kingsley Walters has meticulously recreated key details seen on Morris’ original satchel such as double stitched pockets, twin buckles and rear handle fittings. The Morris Brown colour was created by matching pantones from the original satchel and dyed by Dundee company Halley Stevenson.

Kingsley Walters is captivated with leather craftsmanship and the versatility and longevity of leather as a material. He creates capsule collections of practical and durable pieces by hand, using traditional methods and locally sourced materials. Each product is hand-cut and stitched with beeswax coated thread.
