Women in Print Fabric Collection -Helen Claude Tana Lawn Cotton- One Metre

Helen Claude, first created by Helen Adams in the 1990s, is a stylised design overlaid with a striking ikat effect. An iteration of a paisley print, a popular motif within the artistic world, the traditionally highly decorative tear drop shape has been simplified for contemporary fashions.

Liberty Tana Lawn fabric is prepared & printed in Liberty's printing mill in northern Italy with Global Organic Textile Standard certification. The organic version of our signature Tana has a beautifully warm and soft touch, combining rich fluidity with vibrant print quality.

About the Women in Print Collection

The Women in Print capsule collection, created in partnership with the Women in Print exhibition presented by William Morris Gallery, celebrates the contributions and the pivotal role of female designers in enriching the Liberty archive over the past 150 years. Exploring Liberty’s rich heritage, the collection acknowledges the women who gained international recognition, while also celebrating previously overlooked names, and the significance of their contributions to the world of textiles. The collection captures thirteen designs, showcasing the incredible range of design styles and techniques engaged with across the decades. From sinuous Art Nouveau florals and mid-century geometrics to the bold graphic prints of the 1980s and ‘90s, Women in Print honours the women at the heart of Liberty’s creative innovations.
