Art of Craft Cushion - Standen, Burgundy

This handmade cushion features a cover in 'Standen' fabric from Liberty’s new capsule collection - Art of Craft. Classic Arts and Crafts motifs, intricate detail and rich hues populate this new capsule collection of ten fabrics, conceptualised and designed in the Liberty Fabrics’ studio.

'Standen' was adapted from the William Morris ‘Sunflower’ wallpaper, originally created and block printed in 1879. Rescaled and recoloured by the Liberty Studio in 2018, this large-scale rendition glows in richly saturated colour. Decorative details incorporate a mesmerising combination of vine leaves, grapes, tulips, and of course, glorious sunflowers.

Handmade in the UK exclusively for the William Morris Gallery.

The fabric is Liberty Tana Lawn Cotton and is made in Italy.
